Ariel Guzik created an extremely subtle yet evocative sound piece.
His scientific and elaborate machine created sounds that echoed and resounded in the phenomenal space of Ex San-Lorenzo Church. The church itself was absolutely stunning – its scale already created a sense of awe. It is so large and so beautiful and so delicate.
It is in a fragile state of disrepair and because of this we were confined to a platform not allowed to walk around the space itself.
But we could navigate the space from this platform through our eyes but also through the soundscape that was provided by Guzik.
